SPECIAL FUNDRAISER IN SUPPORT OF OUR TROOPS
No matter what our personal feelings are about the conflicts in Iraq and Afghanistan, we all recognize brave American men and women are there in harm’s way, serving our country. One way we can show our support and gratitude is by providing simple sundries for our troops – little “touches of home” that would be in short supply without our help. The items may seem small and insignificant to us (please see list), but they mean a great deal to those separated so far from family and loved ones.

At their first collection drive in March 2007, the MIT Lincoln Laboratory Community Outreach (LLCO) program sent over 90 care packages to our troops in conjunction with the national non-profit agency, “Give2TheTroops.org”, and has continued to send more since then. Theatre III is proud to participate in this cause by serving as a drop-off location for those who wish to contribute. Donations collected at the theater will be brought by a Theatre III member and Lincoln Lab employee to LLCO for packaging and processing.

DONATIONS CAN BE DROPPED OFF IN THEATRE III’S LONDON BAR DURING REHEARSALS AND PERFORMANCES OF OUR 2007-2008 SEASON OPENER, “THE FULL MONTY”.

(The fine print) :

Theatre III, its Board of Directors, and its members regard this project strictly as a humanitarian effort that does not in any way reflect collective, or individual opinions about government policy.
