Membership Has It’s Advantages

Theatre III is beginning another exciting season of live theatre, thanks to the continued generous support of you, our patrons and audience. As a non-profit, volunteer organization we are again asking for your support so we can continue to bring high-quality, affordable theatre to the Acton area. There are several ways you can show your support.

First, become an active or supporting member of Theatre III. Donations and membership fees provide the majority of funding for utilities, insurance and maintenance. Despite generous funding from a Community Preservation grant, we must pay for a significant portion of the window restoration now underway. These costs have gone up dramatically over the past two years; as a result we have found it necessary to make a modest increase in membership fees and subscription rates.

We know things are tighter for everyone these days and we do appreciate any amount of support you can provide. You will find a membership form on the reverse of this letter. All donors at the $30 or above level will receive the Stage Source card which provides additional discounts to neighboring theatres.

Second, become a season subscriber. As a season subscriber you enjoy priority seating, a substantial discount on the price of all three shows, ($46 vs. $60 if purchased individually) and early notice of special events. To make it even easier, we now accept VISA and MasterCard for subscriptions, memberships and ticket orders.

Third, get involved! We are always looking for new members to work on stage, backstage, or in administration and maintenance. No specific skills are necessary, just a desire to help and to make new friends. Contact a show producer, a board member or just stop by to get started.

Fourth, come to as many shows as you can—and bring your friends. Many shows do sell out, so mark your calendars and order your tickets early. To order tickets, call our ticket line at 978-263-9070, or order online at our website. Please note the revised two-weekend schedule for the winter show.
