Our lift is available! Still to come: entrance ramp.

We are thrilled to announce that our lift is installed and operational! While we are still waiting on an updated vestibule and entrance ramp to be created, our new lift is complete, inspected, and ready for use...as are our brand-new bathrooms, including an accessible one. Please see the house staff if you need to use the lift and we will be happy to assist you!
We want to thank the Acton Community Preservation Committee, the residents of Acton who approved our funding at Acton Town Meeting, the Massachusetts Cultural Council(1), and the many Theatre III donors who have contributed towards it. This project would not be happening without all of your support.
Updated target date: we anticipate that this project will be completed by early summer 2026; check this page for updates.

October 3, 2025: framing out the upstairs "lift lobby" that will exit onto the landing with a new entrance door into the auditorium.
September 18, 2025: The "London Bar" downstairs lobby is crammed with all the supplies we've pulled out of the concessions area, some of the bathroom supply closets, and our box office, as the initial work for the lift and accessible bathroom are underway.
September 18, 2025: The framing for our lift shaft is in place at the back of our risers in the auditorium.
