Tap Workshops
Fall 2025

Theatre III is pleased to offer two tap workshops with Marlene Wachtell, Theatre III veteran choreographer, and Caroline Hubbard, the choreographer of our spring 2026 musical (Nice Work If You Can Get It). 

Whether you just want to see if musical theatre tap is for you, or whether you want to learn more in advance of Nice Work If You Can Get It auditions, we hope you'll sign up to join us!

Prerequisites

• Owning a pair of tap shoes! 

  • Also acceptable for session 1 only: character shoes or hard-soled dress shoes (though you may find it harder to determine if you're doing the tap moves successfully)

Dates

• Session 1, taught by Marlene: tap basics - November 1, 2025, 10 a.m.-noon

  • If you're brand-new to tap or need a basics refresher, session 1 is for you!

• Session 2, taught by Caroline: Nice Work If You Can Get It tap moves - November 8, 2025, 2 p.m.-4 p.m.

  • All are welcome, though this assumes some knowledge of tap basics. It will focus on tap combinations that will be featured in the spring 2026 musical, but is good tap practice for anyone!
